What is There to Celebrate?

It is subtle. Often celebrated as a grand parade of great joy, this entry of Jesus into Jerusalem is far more complicated. And the subtly of the text hints at a broad disconnect between the people, and Jesus.

It is the crowd that is jubilant. But Jesus sees his journey into the holy city in a much different light. His is a perspective that resonates still today with hope, with power, and with love.

Join us as Dr. Jordan guides us through the Triumphal Entry as told by both the gospels of Mark and of Luke, and what it means for you and me today.
