We again are listening to and working with the second chapter of Matthew. Last week we focused on the Magi’s visit and the pleasant reminder of journeying in the direction of Jesus. This week, the change is stark. Herod again, is front and center, this time, not simply as an audience to the Magi, but as the instigator of tragedy. Join us as we move more deeply into the dynamics of loss, fear, and the deep tension surrounding this passage – and what it means for us today.
