How to Hold it All Together

As Part of Broadway Sunday, and with meaningful songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Dear Evan Hanson, The Alter Boys, and Children of Eden, Dr. Jordan shared important insights from Colossians 1:15-17. This scripture, vital words about Jesus described both as broadly poetic and high Christology, can be summed up best in how the sermon begins: “Jesus loves me, this I know …”.

Reminding us how the Bible begins and where the scriptures take us, as followers of Jesus we are inspired to be Hopeful; we are called to be Helpful; and through Jesus, we are made to be Whole. For in Jesus, “all things hold together.”
