FBCD Support Group
FBCDecatur is again offering a support group for those who are grieving due to the death of a relative, friend or significant other, pet, a divorce, or loss of a job.
The group will run for six weeks, beginning on Wednesday, July 27th and concluding on Wednesday, August 31st, from 10-11:30am. The group will be limited to a maximum of 10, so please call the church office at (404) 373-1653 to reserve your place for this group. If the group is already filled when you call, another group will be forming within the next two months.

Irena Seferovic - New, Full-Time Director of First School
We are so pleased to be able to share some very good news with you. As many of you know, Irena Seferovic has been serving as our Interim Director on a part-time basis since just after Harriet Holland, our previous Director, retired. As of June 1, Irena Seferovic will become our new, full-time Director of First School.
The Power We Have; The Grace We Share
we are up to $28,800 and still climbing. Because of your extraordinary response, we are currently pausing our this offering to allow Pastor Andrew and his congregation to assess what their needs will be going forward. If he and the church find they need additional funds, we will be ready to assist them. In the meantime, bless you!
Journey to the Holy Land, May 21-31, 2022
As many of you know, a group of 46 from our community were joining me on a Holy Land pilgrimage back in May of 2020. That trip has been postponed twice due to COVID precautions. But we are now back and ready to go. Our group has been reduced to 25 travelers now, which means we have room for a few more if any of you are interested. Our trip also offers a Pre-tour Jesus Trail hike from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee, and a Post-tour Nile River cruise if you’re interested.
We must get your travel information in immediately so that your names can be added. Please contact me ASAP if you have questions and would be interested in joining us. I have brochures in my office, and I’d be glad to send you an attached copy so that you can register online.
