Wonder in a Minor Key

We are increasingly aware that our current circumstances will not be changing much. Continued uncertainty, widening discontent, and increasing despair serve as the backdrop to our COVID-19 days.

Psalm 139, our primary text again for this week, lifts us with almost mystically poetic imagery. Yet, as with these strange days, this text of wonder is projected from a backdrop of sadness. Then, like now, we can still experience wonder in a minor key.
