It’s Broadway Sunday, a time at First Baptist Decatur not only to demonstrate the vast musical talent in our congregation, but also to highlight the power of the gospel.

Dr. Jordan deftly connects this Broadway theme with the way the Gospel of John presents the story of Jesus. Throughout the first six chapters, the actors come and go, the issues wax and wane, but Jesus keeps connecting those actors in the gospel story to the light of the world, that “spark of creation.” He still does the same with us.
