Have you ever felt hopeless? Even if your seasons of discontent have been fleeting or superficial, these words from Jeremiah 8, Psalm 111 and 113 are vital. Dr. Jordan reminds us of both the context for their poignancy as well as the power of their relevancy. Over time, then and now, the appraisal of life conditions often requires brutal honesty. Jeremiah’s stark perspective is balanced by the Psalmist’s determined nevertheless: “I will praise the Lord.”

Join us as we deepen our honesty with God, strengthen our resiliency in the face of hardship, and broaden our ability to “Praise the Lord” regardless.
