Volunteer at the Decatur Book Festival

The Decatur Book Festival is Back at FBCD!

On October 2, the Decatur Book Festival will bring authors in fiction, non-fiction, YA, and children’s literature to our community.

First Baptist Church has been a partner and venue since 2009 but this year, FBCD will be the ONLY venue for the festival!

We need your help to extend hospitality to the hundreds of guests who will be in our Sanctuary and on our front lawn over the course of the day.

Volunteers will work a 4-5 hour shift, cover a variety of venue support tasks in the Sanctuary, and have the opportunity to mingle with interesting authors.
