Wednesday Night Dinner Mini-Series with Angela Parker

On September 20, Rev. Dr. Angela Parker will be joining us for a 4-week mini-series! Dr. Parker is Assistant Professor of New Testament and Greek at McAfee School of Theology. In her research, Dr. Parker merges Womanist thought and postcolonial theory while reading biblical texts. Her most recent book is If God Still Breathes, Why Can’t I?: Black Lives Matter and Biblical Authority. We’ll begin with an interview with Dr. Parker on the 20th, and then she’ll present 3 lectures on nontraditional readings of the Apostle Paul’s writings.
