Thank You!

Thanks to all of you for a very successful (and very busy!) day yesterday. The breakfast was clearly a terrific success - great work Steven and Robert! And another special thanks to Jeremy and Milton for the set up and take down. 

Let's seriously consider doing that every time we have a One Worship Sunday. It seemed to promote  good fellowship and really felt like it set the stage for a fine day together. 

It also felt the incorporation of deacon ordination into the service was quite meaningful. Thanks to Milton for the chairs up front, and thanks to each of you who assisted in making all the many moving parts work smoothly. 

And thanks to Norma and Carol for their roles in a smooth Family Church Conference and the acceptance of the revised bylaws for 2023. As Norma reminded us, we will need to review them and potentially revise them again in five years. For now, thanks to all who shared in our Wednesday night conversations leading up to this vote.

Thanks also to Ronnie and Dilshad for a well presented and extraordinarily positive Financial Report in the meeting. We are so fortunate to be in our current position. Let’s all keep up the great work!

And finally, thanks to Kelsey for a very good gathering of youth from our community last night in our Activities Center. It was a fine turnout, along with Mickey, Remy and Tracy Lehrer and me combined with a couple of other adults from neighboring congregations. High School and Middle School youth were well represented from at least three different churches. Hopefully, this will be a good monthly model going forward. 

So thanks all - We have much to be thankful for!
