    • Sisters of the Neversea by Cynthia Leitich Smith

In a modern take on the classic, Peter Pan, the author weaves an unforgettable story of two step-sisters taken by a boy who had been watching them from the tree outside their bedroom window.  He takes them to an island filled with wild animals, faeries, merfolk, pirates and a giant crocodile.  The two girls are faced with impossible dangers and inexplicable wonders.  Can they find their way back to the family they love?  Themes of the importance of family and the powerful bonds of sisterhood are woven in to a satisfying bit of magic. Donated by the Village School.

  • ADULT FICTION

    • The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce
This book is one of my 10 favorite books that I have ever read and to quote Janet Maslin of the New York Times, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry “is not just a book about lost love.  It is about all the wonderful everyday things Harold discovers through the mere process of putting one foot in front of the other”.  Donated by Joyce Cotton.

  • ADULT NON-FICTION

    • Confronting the Presidents:  No Spin Assessments from Washington to Biden by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard
The authors present forty five entertaining and insightful portraits of each president - their lives, policies, foibles and legacies. Donated by Linda and Freddy Bailey.
