Prayer for Hope, Love, and Grace

God of hope, 

We cling to hope these days in the absence of hugs. We rest in your presence as we miss our friends. We come, gratefully in thankful prayer for the hope you give us each day. You fill our days with reminders of your presence and we are thankful. 

God of love, 

Continue to teach us how to love each other. Let our concern for the well-being of our neighbors be greater than our concern for ourselves. Your beloved children, all of humanity, are in this struggle together. Remind us of our shared humanity when we forget. 

God of grace,

In those quiet moments of the day where distraction fades and we are left to our thoughts, let the blessing of your presence with us be enough. Remind our weary souls and aching hearts that you are with us. Emmanuel, our wonderful counselor and God with us, remind us always of your presence with and among us. 

We pray with thankful hearts in Jesus’ name. Amen.
