Mother’s Day Would Lack It's Feel

Mother’s Day would lack its feel

And having it would lose appeal

Because your kids would not be real

If you were not our Mom.

Your darling kids would not exist

And that’s why we cannot resist

To thank you as we now persist

In having Mother’s Day.

You gave us nurture and support

Were mostly patient in retort

And loved us so, we now report

We love you even more.

We gave you back a lot of pain

And crippled most financial gain

And all too often lacked the brain

To make our feelings known.

Thus the reason for this rhyme

As we expect you’ll need time

To sit a while and feel sublime

In knowing that you’re great!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
