Each Day a Thankful Day

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.
— Psalm 107:1

As the seasons pass into November and into December,
Let’s pause to reflect and remember
All that, You, Lord, have sent our way.

With each day and passing moment
We see sustaining gifts from Your hand;
We see countless ways that You have shown
Your gracious love and mercy on this land.

We thank You for the seasons:
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
And for the beauty of Your creation
We praise You most of all.

You’ve given us loving families
And friends that are so dear,
You’ve given us all we could ever need
With extra blessings throughout the year.

We thank You for all You’ve done for us:
Abundant grace amazing and free.
We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ,
Whose sacrifice has set us free.

So, as the seasons pass into winter
This is the prayer we’d like to pray,
“Help us to have more thankful hearts
And make each day a Thankful Day!”
