A Prayer to the God Who Sees

God who sees our joys and our sorrows,

You have made us in your image,
The image of a God who loves, who delights, and who grieves.
Remind us of your imminence in all of these activities, emotions, and processes.
Show us that we are not alone and that you love us.
Help us to cast our anxieties on you and to know that you hear us when we do.
And help us to cling to your promise: that you are close to the brokenhearted.

In the name of Christ who wept, Jesus,
Amen
