God Who Creates and Sustains,

Just as you send rain to water our earth, we ask that you would nourish the ecosystems of our hearts.

Plant us in fertile soil, rich in the nutrients that help us to grow, with enough space for our roots to grow down deep.

May our community be a healthy place for us, a safe place for our fragile roots to grow outward even as we grow upward.

Water us with hope that we may endure dry seasons.

Shine the light of your love on us and help us to keep turning to you like hungry little sunflowers, anxious to see and receive your goodness as our food.

And help us to bear fruit that feeds the world around us.

May our season of harvest be not only for our benefit but for the benefit of others as well.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen
