A Prayer for Grace

Forgiving God,
We are thankful for Grace
When we are grouchy, irritable with those around us.
When fear and paranoia distort our love to less than Agape.
We are ever in need of your Grace,
And an extra helping these days.
Help us to give grace too,
To respond in compassion to the pain spoken around us.
Even when that pain looks like selfishness
And sounds like judgement. 
Remind us of Christ who said "Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing." 
In your loving name,
Amen.
