Helping community members in need

At First Baptist Church of Decatur, we believe in helping those around us who are in need. Whether you need to speak with a pastor, get professional counseling help, or simply assistance to land back on your feet, we have something for you.

Immediate Assistance

If you are struggling with mental instability and thoughts of suicide, please immediately call 1-800-273-8255. Or chat directly with someone at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

To access mental health and addictive disease crisis services, call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) 1-800-715-4225 any time of the day or night to speak with someone who can help. GCAL can make appointments at the same time they take your call.
